Environmental Hydrogeological consultancy services to assess vulnerability of groundwater and surface water resources. The studies included a desktop studies of existing geological, hydrogeological and hydrological data and reports that cover both biophysical and socio-economic aspects of groundwater. Hydrogeology is relevant and cross cutting in almost all disciplines. Our hydrogeologists have been involved in the development and interpretation of data to perform a range of services such as conceptual hydrogeologic modeling, and of late numerical modeling and statistical analysis, and pinpointing the technical and regulatory issues for groundwater quality Hydrogeological applications include
- Assessment of the potential for groundwater abstraction, source development and water supply, including: boreholes, wells, and spring catchments.
- Environmental Impact Assessment of the impact to groundwater, soils, geological substrata and surface waters of proposed works or development.
A full range of groundwater services, including investigations, hydrogeologic assessment, aquifer data analysis, and monitoring, modeling, and site assessment is being undertaken for ECO and Partner. We have conducted groundwater studies to determine the nature and extent of aquifer contamination and to delineate plume boundaries, evaluate remediation alternatives, develop conceptual and of late numerical models, and perform routine monitoring.
Such studies generally require the design and installation of a monitoring well network, collection of samples, evaluation of groundwater flow and aquifer properties, and often modeling of groundwater flow and solute transport. We also are developing plans and participate in negotiations with the clients to arrive at the most cost-effective solutions for our clients.
